Why CREW Learning?

CREW stands for Creating Relationships & Educational Well-being.  As a parent of two kids, I know how important it is for children to have a positive relationship with their teachers.  When kids feel comfortable, understood, and respected they will have fun learning and their confidence will soar.  I created CREW Learning to be able to work closely with families to provide customized learning services to meet their child’s unique needs.

CREW Learning offers academic tutoring, social skills small groups, and educational consultations for students with special needs.  I am a certified teacher in Special Education (grades K-12) and Elementary Education (K-5).

Academic Tutoring
We offer individual or small group private tutoring by certified teachers to help each child meet their potential.
Handwriting
We use the Handwriting Without Tears methodology and materials to help increase your child’s handwriting proficiency.
Social Skills Groups
Social Skills group sessions help children with social and emotional learning differences build friendships and interpersonal skills.
Kindergarten Readiness
CREW Kindergarten Readiness sessions are fun and focused on phonics, math, fine motor, and social skills for preschoolers.
Consultation

How Do I Get Started?

To discuss scheduling, pricing and availability,  please email Hilary Lamb.   I will schedule a time to talk with you about your goals for your child and customize an individualized plan to best meet your child’s unique needs.

Where are we located?

We do not have a physical office location as it is our goal to provide tutoring and small group classes close to home for our CREW families.   We meet with students both online and in person.  For in-person tutoring and social skills groups we offer lessons at the library, local coffee shops, and social skills hangouts meet at fun places around the community (parks, arcades, restaurants, mall, etc.).  Our online students use the Zoom and Google Classroom platforms to connect.  It has been awesome to see our students thrive in an online environment and be able to reach more students from the convenience of their homes.  Families have busy schedules between work and kids’ activities and therapies, we are excited to continue to offer virtual tutoring and social skills groups for the 2021-2022 school year in addition to getting back to seeing students in person.
