CREW supports the following community groups and services for families in the North DFW area.

Dominique Cares – Dominique Cares is a nonprofit founded by Deborah Spencer to provide support, resources, and hope to families of individuals with special needs. They provide support groups for parents and siblings, and assistance in funding for special services needed by individuals with special needs.

National Autism Association of North Texas – NAA-NT’s mission is to advocate for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), to help parents find treatment and resources, to educate our community and provide safety information, and training, parent scholarships and learning opportunities for families and professionals who work with individuals who are diagnosed with ASD.

Learning Without Tears (formerly called Handwriting Without Tears) https://www.lwtears.com/

CREW handwriting tutoring uses the Learning Without Tears program, which uses innovative and child-friendly strategies to teach handwriting. These strategies are multi-sensory and appeal to a variety of learners while teaching students easy formations for print and cursive letters in an effective teaching order.

Social Thinking – CREW Social Skills groups are based on Social Thinking®. Social Thinking® is a teaching methodology created by Michelle Garcia Winner, consisting of the Social Thinking Vocabulary, social concepts and strategies, original characters, and curricula with specific materials geared to different age ranges spanning preschool children to adults.
